Refunds and No Shows
If you make a reservation, pay for it, and later decide to cancel it before the reservation deadline (November 18 for this event), you can apply for a refund through the HAPL Office.   We must receive your request to cancel your registration in writing by email at hapl@hapl.org or fax at  713-622-3723 by the 16th.  You will receive the total amount charged minus a $2.00 processing credit card fee.

When you request a refund, Include the credit-card number that you used to pay for the reservation and the confirmation e-mail you received when you paid. If you have lost that e-mail, send as much information as you can about the name and date of the event, the date that you paid, and how much you paid.  Refunds cannot be made for reservations that were paid for, but not cancelled before the reservations deadline. When that happens, you are considered a no-show.

No Shows:
No-shows will not receive refunds.

William “Bill” Marko is a Managing Director at Jefferies Randall & Dewey, the Oil & Gas Investment Banking Group at Jefferies.  He has managed more than $15 billion of asset and corporate transactions, specializing in applying a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the oil and gas assets to the sales processes. Prior to joining Jefferies Randall & Dewey, Mr. Marko worked more than 18 years in various engineering, operations and commercial roles at Mobil Oil, followed by COO of Madison Energy Advisors, a transaction advisory firm. 



With more than 25 years of industry experience in worldwide acquisition, divestment and new business development, he has evaluated transactions in all major U.S. basins and more than 40 countries.  He is a registered Professional Engineer in Louisiana and is an active member of IPAA, currently serving on its SE Region Board, and SPE, having previously served on the Gulf Coast Section (Houston) Board.  Mr. Marko received an MS and BS in engineering from Tulane University.
