HAPL's annual Technical workshop will again be broadcast live from the offices of Haynes & Boone LLP in downtown Houston. The workshop is broadcast over the internet to multiple workshop sites set up by local landman associations.   The HAPL utilizes Webex's web-based system which broadcasts streaming video and audio over the internet. At the conclusion of each presentation attendees are given the opportunity to ask the speaker questions. Prior to the workshop, workshop registrants will be instructed how they can download copies of the individual presentations.

Directions

 The HAPL Technical Workshop on April 30 is located at the Transocean (CMI's parent company) building, the former Vastar building, 15375 Memorial Drive at S. Mayde Creek on the S side of Memorial less than a mile W of N. Eldridge Parkway.  Turn S onto S. Mayde Creek, then W into the building parking area up the ramp and park anywhere on any level in spaces not prohibited by signage as most of the building is vacant now.  Enter the building at the Security station on Level P2 where the ramp enters the building and sign in.  Follow the signs to the Main Auditorium on the First Floor (two levels up from P2).  DUE TO FLOODING THIS WEEK THE ELEVATORS DO NOT WORK SO YOU MUST WALK UP TO THE FIRST FLOOR; ASK SECURITY FOR ASSISTANCE IF YOU CANNOT WALK UP STAIRS.  This is same location as for this event last year and many other HAPL events, including the HAPL Saturday Seminar this Saturday morning, May 2.  You may contact Paul Nielsen on cell # 713-906-2267 if you need further assistance.
 
 

Refunds and No Shows
If you make a reservation, pay for it, and later decide to cancel it before the reservation deadline (April 27 for this event), you can apply for a refund through the HAPL Office.   We must receive your request to cancel your registration in writing by email at hapl@hapl.org or fax at  713-622-3723 by the 27th.  You will receive the total amount charged minus a $2.00 credit card processing fee.

When you request a refund, include the credit-card number that you used to pay for the reservation and the confirmation e-mail you received when you paid. If you have lost that e-mail, send as much information as you can about the name and date of the event, the date that you paid, and how much you paid.  Refunds cannot be made for reservations that were paid for, but not cancelled before the reservations deadline. When that happens, you are considered a no-show.

No Shows:
No-shows will not receive refunds.
