Course Description

Designed for the landman, the lease and title analyst and the division order analyst, this seminar will take a look at the requirements found in the typical title opinion, and discuss the types of documents needed in order to satisfy these requirements. We will cover lease amendments and extensions, affidavits, ratifications, releases, subordinations, quitclaim deeds, stipulations of interest, probate proceedings, powers of attorney, tax certificates and more. Examples of the forms used in each situation will be provided, together with a review of the information required. Attendees are encouraged to bring the details of actual curative issues for discussion.
