The Nehemiah Center is a Christian based organization that offers academic, emotional,
cultural, social and spiritual enrichment to the children and families in the Macgregor Elementary School area, located just outside Houston’s third Ward.
The Nehemiah Center is in need of books for its Library that would be appropriate reading for children whose ages vary between
kindergarten to seniors in high school. Check your closets and bookshelves and help by
contributing either new books, used
books in good condition, and/or a monetary donation to the HAPL to acquire
books to benefit the Children’s Book Drive.
Please drop your books and/or
monetary donation by _________ (Rm. _____) or ________ (Rm. _____) offices on
the ________ floor (ext. _____ and ext. _____, respectively). He or she and the HAPL Service
Committee will see that they are delivered to the center.
