If you make a reservation, pay for it, and later decide to cancel it before the reservation deadline, you can apply for a refund through the HAPL Office.   We must receive your request to cancel your registration in writing by email at hapl@hapl.org or fax at  713-622-3723.  You will receive the total amount charged minus a $5.00 credit card processing fee.  The deadline for this event is Thursday, December 31st @ 5:00 p.m.

When you request a refund, include the name and date of the event, and how much you paid.  Refunds cannot be made for reservations that were paid for, but not cancelled before the reservations deadline. When that happens, you are considered a no-show.
 
 
All pre-registered members/guests for this event that have not prepaid and do not attend will be billed as a no-show.

Marc Strahn is a Certified Professional Landman with more than 32 years of field landman and management experience in the Rockies. He is president of The Wolf Haven Corp. and High Story Ventures Inc., oil, gas and real estate acquisition and divestiture companies specializing in mineral and production properties in the Rocky Mountain region. He was formerly an independent landman and one of the owners of Hanson & Strahn Inc. of Cheyenne, Wyo., until he retired the first time from the land brokerage business on May 31, 2007. Strahn attended Montana State University. In 2001 the governor appointed him to the Wyoming State Energy Commission where he finished his term as chairman. In 2002 he was appointed to the Wyoming Natural Gas Pipeline Authority where he finished his term as vice chairman. Strahn finished his third two-year term as AAPL’s Wyoming director in 2009. Over the years he has served on several national committees for AAPL, including Public Lands, Membership, NAPE Management, Bylaws and Policy Review and the University of Wyoming PLM Program Task Force. For the 2009-10 term of office, Strahn was elected to serve as secretary to the AAPL Executive Committee. In addition, he is a member and speaker for the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation. In 2013, Strahn was appointed to the University of Wyoming School of Energy Resources External Advisory Committee for its new Professional Land Management Program, to a three-year term on AAPL’s Landman Scholarship Trust Committee and to a five-year term on AAPL’s Investment Advisory Council. He served as AAPL first vice president for the 2014-15 term. He also served as past president of the Wyoming Association of Professional Landmen for the 2013 term of office. He lives in Story, Wyo., with wife and lifelong partner Kathi Hanson.
