BIOGRAPHY- Henry G. “Buddy” Kleemeier
Mr. Kleemeier is President and Chief Executive Officer of Kaiser-Francis Oil src="http://hapl.org/attachments/wysiwyg/1909/Buddyklee.jpg" width="200" align="right" border="0" />Company. Kaiser-Francis is a privately owned independent exploration and production company with headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kaiser-Francis and its subsidiaries operate producing properties in thirteen states and two provinces in Canada.
Mr. Kleemeier is also involved in the management of Excelerate Energy, which operates the world’s first offshore deep water port for LNG, located in the Gulf Of Mexico, approximately 116 miles south of Sabine Pass. Excelerate Energy is headquartered in the Woodlands, Texas and is owned By Kaiser-Francis Oil Company, and the Excelerate Energy management team.
Kleemeier’s background is petroleum engineering, having graduated with that degree from Texas A&M University in 1966. During the last fifteen years Mr. Kleemeier has developed and maintained an on going analysis and study of North American natural gas supply and demand, and has addressed his findings and conclusions on this subject to numerous groups; most notably the Independent Petroleum Association Of America, The Natural Gas Supply Association of America, The Oklahoma Corporation Commission, NARUC, TIPRO, The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, The Federal Energy Bar, and The United States Senate Energy and Natural Resources committee.
Kleemeier is the past Chairman of the Natural Gas Committee and Current Chairman for the Independent Petroleum Association Of America, and is also a member of the Natural Gas Council, and The National Petroleum Council. Kleemeier is a native Texan, having grown up in Houston, but has resided in Oklahoma for 30 years and now considers himself an “OKIE”.
