HAPL Team Event

45th ANNUAL HAPL SKEET SHOOT
AUGUST 3, 2019


WHO: HAPL members, their spouses, & guests. All guests should be associated with the oil & gas industry.

WHEN: August 3, 2019. Shooting begins promptly at 7:45 a.m. Shooters should be present thirty (30) minutes before assigned shooting times. Late shooters will be placed at the end of the shooting order & may shoot only if time & space permit.

ENTRY FEE: $100.00 for HAPL members; $125.00 for non-members. Fee includes 50 rounds of ammunition & all targets, lunch, beverages, cap & registration for door prizes. The barbecue lunch & beverages will be available to “non-shooting” HAPL members & their guests at a cost of $25.00 per person. Please make reservations for shooting or lunch only by sending in the form below, along with your check, by July 19, 2019. Please make checks payable to HAPL Skeet Shoot - 2019. To win door prizes, Shooters must be present!

LIMITED NUMBER: Registration shall be limited to the first 200 shooters’ entry forms that are received & paid.

REGISTRATION: Forms & fees are to be received no later than July 19, 2019. Preferred shooting times will be assigned in the order of registrations received. However, priority shall be given to Sponsors & HAPL Members. If you wish to shoot on the same five-person squad with friends or guests, submit all names & entry fees on one application (no six-person squads). Only the first person listed on the entry form will be notified of the assigned shooting time. That person will be responsible for notifying the other shooters.

REFUNDS: Because purchases & fees must be paid in advance, we will be unable to give refunds to registrants who are not able to attend.

CLASS SHOOT: In order for every shooter to have a chance to win an award, the Modified Lewis Class System will be used for scoring. After all participants have shot, shooters will be placed into one of the following classes: AA, A, B, C & D. Awards will be presented to the High Overall Champion & Runner-up & also to the winner & runners-up in each class. Longest run system will be used to determine any ties. For any person that registers & shoots more than once, first round score will be used for Award placement.

GUNS & SHELLS: You may use your choice of a 12 or 20 gauge shotgun. All shooters must use the shells furnished at the shoot. Each Shooter must pick up his/her own shells at the registration desk. All empty hulls are the property of the ASC & are not to be picked up during or after the shoot. Shooters are required to wear eye & ear protection. The ASC & the HAPL assume no liability for any injuries or loss to persons or property that may be incurred at this event.
