NGL Institute - Friday, April 20, 2007
The American Association of Professional Landmen and the Next Generation Landmen invite you to attend the 3rd Annual Next Generation Landmen Institute to be held this year at the Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine, Texas on Friday, April 20, 2007. This year the educational program will focus on negotiations and the petroleum landman and well trade agreements. The morning session will cover all you need to know about well trade agreements, including negotiating and completing the deal. In the afternoon session, our presenters will cover everything you need to know about negotiations in the oil and gas business.

The day begins at 8:00 a.m. with registration and a continental breakfast. The Institute begins promptly at 8:30 and concludes at 4:30. The registration fee for the institute is $175 for AAPL members and $275 for non-members. This includes the opening dinner and reception at the Cowboy Golf Club on Thursday evening, continental breakfast, and lunch.
The Institute is accredited by the AAPL for 6.0 RPL/RP credits, including 0.50 Ethics credit.
Seating for the Institute is limited to the first 80 paid registrations – confirmations upon payment only.
NGL/Mentor Golf Tourney - Thursday April 19
With the success of last year’s golf outing, the NGL committee has again planned a superior day of golf for NGL members and their invited mentors. The Cowboys Golf Club is the premier resort-style, daily-fee golf course in Texas. Inspired by excellence, an innovative golf and entertainment experience awaits you. It received an Honorable Mention "Top Ten Courses You Can Play in America" - Golf Magazine.
The golf tourney is on Thursday April 19, with a 1:30 p.m. shot-gun start, limited to a total of 100 players. The fee for the event is $200 per golfer which includes green fee, range fee, locker room access, personalized cart signs, format/rules sheets, cart fee, handling of guest bags, personalized scorecards and event scoring. All golfers must wear collared shirts, golf slacks or golf shorts, and spikeless golf shoes.
Each NGL may invite a “mentor” to play golf and you may register for yourself and a mentor or just yourself. You do not have to attend the institute to participate in the golf tourney. However, if you register for both, the total fee is $350/members, $450/non-members

Reception – Dinner - Awards
The AAPL sponsored NGL Reception, Dinner, and Awards Ceremony will be held at the Cowboys Golf Club immediately following golf. There is no additional charge for the reception and dinner for those registered for the institute. However, you must register to reserve a seat.
CE Credits: This program has been accredited by AAPL for six RPL/RL credits, including 0.5 ethics..
Transfer Registrations: All requests to transfer registrations and all refund requests will be assessed a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations and transfer requests must be submitted in writing. AAPL retains cancellation rights. In the unlikely event of cancellation, AAPL will attempt to notify all pre-registrants. Late Registrations: After April 4, 2007, the registration fees are $225 for AAPL members and $325 for non-members.
Registration Cancellations: Refunds, less a $25 administration fee, will be given for cancellations received by 3:00 PM on Wednesday April 4, 2007. No refunds will be given thereafter, although substitution of attendees may be made by contacting AAPL. A written request must follow a telephone cancellation. Registrants not entitled to a refund will receive a copy of the written materials.
Tuition Assistance: Tuition assistance is no longer available for this program
Special Needs: If you have special needs addressed by the ADA, please notify us at least two weeks before the program.
