Lead land development linked with oil & gas assets within designated prospect areas, including representing the client in land efforts to establish new drilling unit/wells, and business development initiatives associated with leasing, trades, and deal sourcing. Negotiate leases and other land-related agreements. Handle surface land projects related to existing and new drilling locations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize asset rationalization, development, and growth.

Worked as a part of the Land Department development team on leasing projects; collaborated efforts with multiple internal workgroups to support joint-venture drill plans. Lead leasing activities, working directly with operators in lease acquisition. Performed courthouse research; coordinated in the field and in-house, company exploration activities with land owners, surveyors, lease brokers, title & abstracting companies, attorneys, and other parties involved with client operations. Supervised field crew of landmen to update title opinions and coordinate leasing activities within the AMI prospect area. Regularly worked with runsheets, flowcharts and other integral online resources, energy management and team collaboration software to review title. Negotiated with mineral owners to obtain oil and gas leases on tracts in a designated drill space unit. Provided advanced lease analysis; lead negotiations surrounding mineral rights and business contracts for exploration and development. Researched, analyzed, and generated various mineral ownership reports. Coordinated with various local, state, and federal regulatory entities as required to support project management.

➢ Performed due diligence land review for acquisition and divestiture efforts. Independently verified Working Interest and Net Revenue Interest Calculations. Identified PSA Title Defects, Errors or Omissions on Exhibits. Reviewed abstracts and deed records to determine ownership, and reviewed title opinions to satisfy requirements.
➢ Reviewed AFE Well Proposals and provided reccommendation regarding participation in drilling operations. Prepared, delivered and tracked well proposals, standard form joint operating agreements and division of interests. Analyzed JIB Accounting, division orders and revenue statements.
➢ Provided Abstracting Services to buyers, sellers, realtors, mortgage lending institutions and developers. Interpreted public records to determine the condition of title transferring real property. Produced Ownership & Encumbrance [O&E] formatted Reports for lenders that show the current ownership and all outstanding Liens on borrowers in various counties located in Texas.
